In 2007 I found myself in a real quandary. I was paying much more in property taxes than I was making from my real estate investments. Without regard to what I had paid for the property or how much income it produced, I was being charged the highest property taxes on almost every piece of property I owned. It had crept up on me over several years and I honestly didn't realize how high my taxes had become until it was almost too late. So I decided to do something about it. I began to research and experiment with ways to reduce my property taxes. Over the next three years, I worked diligently on reducing my taxes. I developed a simple but effective system which I used to reduce my property taxes. My system worked wonderfully. I was able to reduce my total property tax burden by nearly 50%. Soon I found myself helping my friends do the same thing.
